Digital Operations Consultancy

Not sure where to start? We audit what you run today, map the bottlenecks, and tell you what is worth automating — and what is not.

The problem this solves

The hardest part of automating a small business is not the building. It is knowing which of the twenty annoying things is the one worth paying to fix.

Get that wrong and you have spent a budget on a system that saves an hour a month, while the real bottleneck is still there. The honest answer is sometimes that a process should be simplified rather than automated — which is not something a build-first supplier tends to say.

What you get

  • A map of your current systems — every tool, what it holds, and where information is copied by hand between them.
  • A bottleneck list, ranked by hours lost and by how easily each one could be fixed.
  • A recommendation on what to automate first, what to simplify instead, and what to leave alone.
  • An integration plan for the apps you already pay for but have never connected.
  • A reporting review — which numbers you should be able to see and currently cannot.

How we work

  1. 1

Interview the people doing the work

Not just the owner. The person who actually sends the reminders knows where the time goes.

  2. 2

Trace one real job end to end

We follow a single enquiry from arrival to invoice and record every handoff. This is where the surprises are.

  3. 3

    Quantify the cost

Hours per month, attached to each bottleneck, so the priority argument is about numbers rather than opinions.

  4. 4

    Hand over the roadmap

A written plan you can act on with us, with someone else, or on your own. There is no lock-in in a document.

Who this is for

  • You know the business is inefficient but not where, specifically.
  • You have been quoted for a system and want to know whether it is the right one.
  • You pay for software you suspect overlaps.
  • You want a plan before a budget.

What it costs

Starter Audit

£350 – £750

A full technology review, an automation map and a ranked list of quick wins. If you go on to build with us, this is the work the build is scoped from.

Common questions

Is this just a sales call?

No — it is paid work with a written deliverable, and the roadmap is yours to take elsewhere. It would be a poor advert for us if the honest recommendation were always 'buy our build'.

What if the answer is that we should not automate?

Then that is the answer, and the review has saved you more than it cost. Some processes need simplifying, not systematising.

How much of our time does it take?

A few short conversations with the people who run the process, plus access to the tools you already use. We work around the week rather than stopping it.

Works well with

Book a technology review

A short call to look at how you work now, where the manual time goes, and whether a system would actually pay for itself. No pitch deck.
