Investment Data Analyser
An AI-driven tool being built to organise, compare and explain data about general investments. It is in development and is not yet available.
Where it is up to
The Investment Data Analyser is in development and is not yet available to use. There is no public release, no trial, no waiting list and no launch date we can share. This page describes what we are building; it is not a product announcement, and nothing on it can be bought today.
What it is not
- It is not financial advice, and it is not being built to give any. It does not make personalised recommendations and will not tell anyone what to buy, sell or hold.
- ILMIC LTD is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, and does not carry out regulated activities.
- No return, performance, outcome or benefit is promised, projected or implied — by the tool or by this page.
- Nothing here is an offer, an inducement or a recommendation in relation to any investment.
- There are no results, customers, case studies or performance figures to report, because the tool is not in use.
- Anyone making an investment decision should take advice from someone appropriately qualified and regulated to give it.

Why we are building it
Data about general investments arrives in incompatible shapes. Two documents describing comparable things will report them over different periods, with different fees counted in different places, and a reader has to normalise all of it in their head before any comparison means anything.
That work is slow, easy to get subtly wrong, and it rewards whoever already knows where the footnotes are. It is a data-handling problem before it is a finance problem — which is the part we work on.
What it is being built to do
- Bring investment data from several sources into one consistent structure.
- Put comparable figures on the same basis, so that a side-by-side comparison is actually like-for-like.
- Explain in plain English what a set of figures shows — and, as importantly, what it does not show.
- Make the assumptions behind a number visible instead of burying them.
- Show its workings, so any output can be checked rather than taken on trust.
How we are building it
- 1
Data handling first
The hard part is ingesting inconsistent sources and normalising them without quietly distorting what they say. That is where the work currently sits.
- 2
Explanation, not recommendation
The output is designed to describe and compare. Deliberately, there is no scoring, ranking or suggestion layer, because that would cross into advice.
- 3
Auditable by design
Every figure it presents should be traceable back to its source and its assumptions. If a number cannot be explained, it does not get shown.
- 4
Honest about uncertainty
Where data is incomplete or not genuinely comparable, the tool is being built to say so rather than to produce a confident-looking answer anyway.
Who it is being designed for
- People who already have investment data in front of them and want it organised and explained.
- Anyone who finds the reporting formats harder work than the underlying subject.
- Teams who want the data-handling automated but the judgement left firmly with a human.
Common questions
Can I use it today?
No. It is in development and not available. There is no trial, no beta and no waiting list, and we would rather say that plainly than collect sign-ups for something with no release date.
Is this financial advice?
No, and it is not being built to be. It is a data tool: it organises, compares and explains figures. It does not assess anyone's circumstances and makes no recommendation about any investment.
Is ILMIC regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority?
No. ILMIC LTD is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and does not carry out regulated activities. ILMIC is part of the FCA Group, which is a group of companies unconnected with the Financial Conduct Authority and is not a regulator.
What results has it produced?
None that we can report, because it is not in use. We are not going to describe performance for a tool that has not shipped.
When will it launch?
We do not have a date, and we would rather give none than give one we cannot stand behind. This page will be updated when there is something real to say.
